Browser extension

Click-to-call, in your browser.

The WPS PBX extension finds phone numbers on the pages you already read and turns each one into a single click. The call is placed by your phone system, from your own extension — no copying, no misdialling.

How it works

Three things happen. That's the whole product.

  1. Point it at your phone system

Enter your PBX address, extension number, and password once, in the extension's settings. The Test button confirms them without placing a call.

  2. Click a number on any page

WPS PBX marks the phone numbers it finds while you read. Click one, or pick it from the right-click menu, to start the call.

  3. Your phone rings first

Answer it and your phone system connects you to the number you clicked. The call comes from your extension, not from your browser — so it works with a desk phone or a softphone.

Install

Add it to Chrome.

WPS PBX is a Chrome browser extension. Install it, open its settings once to point it at your phone system, and every page you visit becomes click-to-call.

It's coming to the Chrome Web Store — this page will link to the listing as soon as it's published.

Permissions & privacy

Two permissions, and nothing leaves your browser.

  • Access to page content — to find phone numbers on the pages you view and mark them callable. It works only in the page, as you read it.
  • Storage — to keep your PBX address, extension number, and password digest on your own device between sessions, so you set them once.

There is no account and no analytics. Your settings stay in your browser, and the only request the extension makes is to the phone system you configure — nothing reaches us. Read the full privacy policy.
